"Inma Femenía works on aluminium plates that have been previously printed upon. Composition in layers is carried out digitally in this case, and the need to physically force the material brings us back to what I mentioned above. To compose progressively, with no frills, in the case of this five artists turns into office labor, the practice of one who extracts results not so much out of a precise instant, but through a practice that is draw out in time. Their works is one of per severance, of trial and error, and of the immediacy of the gesture, where Spanish painting has always demonstrated an enviable good health, even in moments when the intelligence that Max Aub talked about was murdered."
